I actually struggled for motivation after the race and trained sporadically all summer. Come September though and I got back on the wagon. I ran 110mile in September, biked 300mile and swam 17000m.
Biking has taken a bit of a back-burner lately as the weather is poor. I have started the GYCC sufferfest Tuesday night sessions which are keeping the legs spinning, but to be honest I'm just enjoying the running at the moment.
Got my park run time down to 22:25 at Gorleston cliffs. I did the chase the train a few weeks ago.
http://nnbr.co.uk basically you have to beat a steam train over a 8.95mile route.
Chase the Train is a 8.9 mile race from Aylsham to Wroxham.
It follows the footpath next to the Bure Valley Railway,
Norfolk’s longest narrow guage steam railway.

I averaged 7:43min/mile and finished in 1:09:15. I would have beaten the train if the police hadn't buggered the start up!
Yesterday I did the Great Yarmouth 10K and set a new PB of 46:35 (7:27"/mile)
It was windy and wet, with half of the course into a 20mph headwind. Very happy with the time.
Day off today then back to it tomorrow.
